Hitchhiker

Hitchhiker is the result of my thesis project, a boardgame designed for dutch students in practical education about exploring cities and places in the Netherlands. Four players work together over four rounds to cover as much ground as possible and mark locations as visited, while trading cards and visiting key locations for additional points. By the end, players have dotted the map and collected symbols that mark their final score, and perhaps seen had their interest drawn by some of the locations they discovered along their journey.

This is an asset pack that contains all the necessary files to make the game. It includes art, vectors, 3D meshes, as well as an android apk for its optional companion app.

The example game in the pictures was made with a laser-engraved wooden board, laser-cut & 3D printed tokens and pieces, and shop-printed cards.
